Our waiting list is long but we are helping where we can.

We are able to schedule Feline (Cat) Surgeries, easier and faster than Canine (Dog) surgeries.

If you wish to move forward with your dog's surgery, please fill in the form below.

Due to funding sources and the loss of sponsorship and donations toward our Low-Income Spay/Neuter Programs are raising our charges for services.   Currently, we have no grants or sponsorships toward our spay/neuter surgeries.

Due to the rise in cost and the passing of our seniors who made yearly sponsorships toward surgeries the price of our clinics must go up. We may need to charge extra fees to cover the cost of additional services.

Rabies Vaccine - Only animals 3 months plus will receive rabies.  By law, every animal over 3 months must be vaccinated against Rabies, so you will have to schedule an appointment at a vet for their Rabies Vaccine.

Follow Up Boosters - If this is your pet's 1st vaccine, please schedule a booster at your vet for 3-4 weeks after surgery for a follow-up booster.

Please note that prices will change with cost of clinic.

  • Feline Neuter surgeries $175.00 which include neuter, deworming, flea treatment, microchip, vaccinations.
  • Feline Spay surgeries $175.00 which include spay, deworming, flea treatment, microchip, vaccinations.

FIV/Felv test is an additional $20.00

Canine Spay or Neuter surgeries are $250 plus depending on size of dog, age of dog, sex of dog, and more.

With the price of gas, please think about donating an extra $5 to help with our fuel costs.

Please Be Patient with us!  We are trying to help as many Owner Pets, TNR, Barn Cats as possible BUT ...
Keeping with the guidelines of COVID-19 reopening and restructuring we are still limited to the number of animals taken to our scheduled clinics.
You may experience a delay in getting a call back or you may receive a call to postpone your clinic to another day if we have urgent surgeries to be done on Shelter Animals.

Note: Those who have requested and paid for clinics have been set dates and will be hearing from our staff to make all the arrangements.

We are booking surgeries as we have room and will contact those on our waiting lists.

Simcoe and District Humane Society Wants to help!

We want to assist low-income families and seniors spay/neuter their pets, and help folks spay/neuter Barn Cats, Colonies, TNR.

When we have space in our scheduled clinics, we will publish it on this page.  Animals will be booked in order of request (not including those booking early for babies or those recovering from illness or injury).

We have raised our prices, mentioned above, to cover the raised cost of care and materials as we are not funded by the government or grants. Please think about giving an extra $5 to help us cover the cost of gas while the prices are so high.
